I’m Mariah Elizondo, a graduate of Pennsylvania State University, where I earned dual degrees in Broadcast Journalism and Spanish, along with a minor in Sports Studies and a certificate in Sports Journalism from the John Curley Center. During my time at Penn State, I developed a strong foundation in storytelling, production, and multimedia journalism while bringing a unique perspective and fresh energy to the world of sports media.

 

Driven by a passion for sports, I strive to create content that informs, connects, and inspires. Whether on the sidelines, in the control room, or behind the mic, my goal is to capture the emotion, strategy, and personalities that make each game unforgettable while amplifying underrepresented voices and empowering future generations of women of color in sports.
