Hello.

 

My name is Mariah Elizondo and I am from Lake Worth, Florida. I am a junior at Penn State University, double majoring in Broadcast Journalism and Spanish, minoring in Sports Studies, and earning the John Curley Center Sports Journalism Certificate. I am also a Bunton-Waller Fellow.

I am driven by a deep love for sports and am committed to sharing that enthusiasm with fans around the world.  Through dynamic storytelling, my goal is to captivate audiences, foster a sense of community, and create a connection between the audience and the stories unfolding on and off the field. I hope to be a trusted voice in sports media, dedicated to enhancing the joy and excitement of any game for every fan and aspire women of color who are considering pursing a career in the sports industry.
